

The 2008 Dodge Ram BFT was first unveiled at the SEMA Show as a big fast truck concept. The vehicle has been powered by a 6.7 liter Cummins turbodiesel engine that is capable of producing about 350 hp and a torque of 650 lb-ft along with an automatic transmission. It has been specially developed to provide maximum hauling and towing power. This model is a mixture of Quad Cab Ram pickup along with eight foot bed created into a regular cab. It is considered to be 2-foot chasm with a shorter cab that has been developed by adding together a longer ten foot bed. The 2008 Dodge Ram BFT design team had placed a standard cab on a 160 inch Dodge Ram Heavy Duty wheelbase. This model also features 6 inch suspension lift kit from Superlift, Alcoa’s 22.5 inch 10-lug semi wheels along with 37 inch Goodyear Unisteel tires, full-length polished bed and step rails. The vehicle has been considered to be a one big fine truck that has been built to be a ultimate workhorse model that was expected to attract most of the hardcore truck buyer. The 2008 Dodge Ram BFT is available with a dual exhaust along with four air-cooled tips to work with new DPF system. The vehicle also has big BFT badges, chrome towing mirrors along with built-in turn signals, chrome bed rails, smoked clear running lights on top, dualie fenders, a ram-air hood and chrome tubular running boards.
