

The 2012 Nissan Micra DIG-S is a new Direct Injection Gasoline Supercharged version that was first introduced at the Geneva Motor Show. It is available with an 1198cc, 4-cylinder supercharged engine that is capable of producing about 97 bhp at 5600rpm and a torque of 105 lb-ft at 4400rpm along with a continuous variable transmission. The car is expected to accelerate from 0-60 mph in about 11.3 seconds along with an estimated top speed of around 112 mph. The DIG-S engine has direct injection, low friction diamond-like carbon coating, nano-surfaced camshaft lobes, general high attention to friction reduction and an on-demand oil pump. The 2012 Nissan Micra DIG-S exterior styling has no identity of the company and the interior looks grim with features such as shiny plastics, cheap switchgear, ruched-leather trim, cruise control and heated seats. It also has throttle-adjustable handling and credible-feel electric power steering which makes this model more fun to drive.
