

The Aston Martin DB4 GT Zagato is a sports car that first introduced at the London Motor Show and it was produced from the year 1960 to 1963. The car was available with a 3.7 liter, aluminum, twin-spark, straight 6-cylinder engine that was capable of producing about 314 hp at 6,000 rpm and a torque of 278 lb-ft at 5,400 rpm along with a 4-speed manual transmission. It was able to accelerate from 0-60 mph in about 6.1 seconds along with an estimated top speed of around 154 mph. This model was specially developed as a smaller, more aerodynamic and super lightweight car. The Aston Martin DB4 GT Zagato was introduced with a wheelbase of 2,362 mm, length of 4,267 mm, width of 1,557 mm, height of 1,270 mm and it also weighed about 2,701 lb. The front suspension was available with wishbones, coil springs, telescopic dampers, anti-roll bar and the rear suspension featured live axle on coil springs along with trailing arms, Watt linkage. Most of the parts were built using aluminum instead of steel which was used in other similar models. The Aston Martin DB4 GT Zagato also featured Perspex and aluminum components which reduced its overall weight. About 19 units were produced by the company during its short production period at the Zagato factory in Italy, by Ercole Spada. This model was mainly distinguished by its registration plates and it also took part at the 1961 24 Hours of Le Mans.
