

The Volvo XC70 AT is a concept vehicle that was first unveiled at the SEMA trade show in Las Vegas in the year 2005. It is an updated version of the standard Volvo XC70 model which is known for its all-weather capability. This model has been specially developed to handle almost any off-road situation. The Mexican desert and Baja 1000 off-road race are the inspirations behind the development of this vehicle. The vehicle was introduced with a custom paint which was a color that was used by the company previously also. The actual metallic paint was seen in 1997 when the company had unveiled the moat beautifully styled C70 coupe. The Volvo XC70 AT exterior was available with a deep orange tint, flecked along with yellow, red and glimmering silver hints. This model has been has been completely modified when compared to the standard version to meet the demands of an unrelenting environment. The vehicle is also a safe and solid as the factory specified model along with all the safety systems and most of its features are in perfect working condition when it was introduced at the show. The Volvo XC70 AT was built by Volvo and aftermarket tuner ipd who have been providing performance, appearance and suspension upgrades for a long time for the company. This model was tested with a three day drive route at the Baja 1000 desert race and it was able to achieve a great success.
