

The 2012 Audi A6L e-Tron is a concept car that was introduced at the Beijing Auto Show which is available with a combination of luxury and practicality of the standard A6L model. The car has been powered by a 2.0 TFSI engine that is able to generate 211 hp and an electric motor that produces 95 hp. The electric motor gets power from a liquid-cooled lithium-ion battery which has been placed in a collision-protected space at the rear. This model is capable of reaching a top speed of 37.28 mph in a pure electric mode with an estimated range of 49.71 miles. The 2012 Audi A6L e-Tron has been developed by using the same ultra lightweight principle which was available in the standard A6L model. This model the car to use 10 percent aluminum which makes it about 15 percent lighter when compared to other all-steel design cars. The car also features a carbon fiber-reinforced polymer which helps to obtain best performance along with least material usage in best places. The 2012 Audi A6L e-Tron interior is available with a new power-meter instead of tachometer which is able to indicate the total drive system power on a scale of 0-100 percent. It also has new seats that include ventilation along with massage functions, deluxe automatic air conditioning system along with air ionizer and a Bose surround system. The car features an auxiliary instrument that visualizes the charge state of the lithium-ion battery.
