

The 2012 Bentley Continental GT3 is a new race car that was introduced at the Paris Motor Show as a concept model. The car which is based off of the Continental GT Speed has been powered by a W12 engine which is much lighter when compared to the standard version. It has been specially developed for the FIA GT3 European Championship and later on it is expected to enter into the 24-hour marathons too. This model has undergone a significant drop in weight as it weighs about 2,755 lbs. The entire body of the car has been developed with lightweight materials. The 2012 Bentley Continental GT3 is available with a rear-wheel drive chassis in accordance with regulations including a comprehensive aerodynamic package and a state-of-the-art motorsport hardware. Most of the luxurious features which were found in the standard model have been dropped in this vehicle. The interior has been developed with carbon fiber shell seats and a full race cage. There are large rear wings as well as a front bumper that has been made of carbon fiber. The 2012 Bentley Continental GT3 has received a complete support from the FIA which has helped the company to enter into the motorsport arena. It has a dramatic livery that enhances the muscular along with sculpted form of the Continental GT Speed that remains patriotic with the inclusion of Union flags. The car is expected to create a solid foundation for the company for its long-term motorsport plans.
