

The Chevrolet Camaro SSX is a concept car that was unveiled at the SEMA show in the year 2010 and it is developed for racing purpose. It has been powered by a LS3 6.2 liter V-8 engine and a 6-speed manual transmission along with Corvette ZR1 twin-disc clutch. The car is available with a four-wheel disc racing brake system along with six-piston front or four-piston rear calipers and slotted rotors. This model was introduced to take Camaro’s excellent street performance to a next level and it also expresses the Chevrolet’s new commitment in developing and providing a portfolio of performance parts for other racing enthusiasts. The Chevrolet Camaro SSX exterior is available with 20 inch racing wheels and tires, carbon fiber hood, fenders door, deck lid, adjustable rear wing, carbon fiber front splitter and rockers. The exterior has been painted with icy white metallic color that has been contrasted with the carbon aero parts, door graphics or racing number and red details. The car also features a unique lower grille and brake ducts. The Chevrolet Camaro SSX interior features include ace suede-covered racing steering wheel and shifter, SCCA-approved roll cage, seat with five-point harness, racing pedals and fire suppression system. It also has a fuel cell and video camera system mounted on the roll cage. The car also has front splitter, lightweight carbon fiber body panels and adjustable rear wing. It has undergone suspension modifications which are expected to provide good performance.
