

The Koenigsegg CCXR Platinuss E100 is a new special edition car that was first unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in the year 2010. It has been limited to only one unit which has been specially built for a wealthy customer in Brazil. The car has been completely customized because of the strict emission regulations so that it can use bio-ethanol and it has been named after a Brazilian dealership. This model has been powered by a 4.8 liter V8 engine that is capable of producing about 1100 bhp and it is able to accelerate from 0-60 mph in just 2.9 seconds. The Koenigsegg CCXR Platinuss E100 is expected to have a price tag of about $6 million and this special edition has been developed exclusively for the Brazilian market. After the trade agreement which began more than six months, the company had commissioned the first unit of the brand and the proposal to build an engine powered by 100% ethanol. The standard model Koenigsegg CCXR E85 is already working with 85% ethanol and 15% gasoline. The Koenigsegg CCXR Platinuss E100 is expected to travel at a maximum speed of around 415 km/h. The car also features a larger front splitter and the exterior has a custom painted color. Natalino Bertin Jr, the president of Platinus said all technical specifications and design of the engine were developed by Koenigsegg and the dual-clutch technology as well as opening doors are also Swedish designs.
