The Zotye 2008 is a five door SUV that was introduced to honor the 2008 Beijing Olympics and it was also known as Zotye 5008 in several markets. The vehicle has been powered different engine options such as 1.3 liter, 4-cylinder engine that was able to generate about 68 kW of power along with 113 Nm of torque and 1.5 liter, 4-cylinder engine which is capable of producing about 78 kW of power along with a torque of 134 Nm. This model also features manual or automatic transmission and it can travel at a top speed of around 145 kmh. The Zotye 2008 has a similar exterior look of the Daihatsu Terios, but the front treatment of the grill is completely different apart from the rear which looks identical. The presses for the body panels and its associated parts have been purchased from Daihatsu. The vehicle offers a sport performance which is considered to be outstanding than other similar models which makes the driving more comfortable. The interior has been specially designed to be more spacious. The Zotye 2008 is available with a wheelbase of 2420 mm, length of 3900 mm, width of 1555 mm, height of 1670 mm and it also weighs about 1130 mm. The vehicle also features air conditioning, power steering, 15 inch alloy wheels, electric windows, electric mirrors and more. This model was introduced in various markets including South Africa and at present it is sold as Hunter.
