

The Alfa Romeo Navajo is based on 33 Stradale and it was first introduced at the 1976 Geneva Motor Show as a concept model. It is available with a 2 liter fuel injected V8 engine that is capable of producing about 230 hp at 8800 rpm along with a 6-speed manual transmission. The car symbolized a new partnership between Alfa Romeo and the Turin bodywork designer who were able to introduce many world famous cars. This model represents a concrete idea for a sporty coupe that is based on the prestigious mechanics of the Alfa 33. The Alfa Romeo Navajo was available with a wheelbase of 2,430 mm, length of 3,800 mm, width of 1,860 mm, height of 1,050 mm and it had a weight of around 1,918 lb. It featured original tubular chassis that were adapted and lengthened to create optimum room for two passengers. The body of the car was completely made of fiberglass along with the chassis which were able offer to excellent result in terms of weight. The Alfa Romeo Navajo is benefitted both in general design terms and accessories. The frontal view of the car was extremely tapered and the original front spoiler was able to regulate the angle automatically with the ground as per the speed of the vehicle. It also featured headlamps that were able to open horizontally to the plane of the car and its adjustable rear wings also provided an interesting aesthetic motif.
