

The 2011 Volvo C30 Polestar is a concept car that was introduced at the Gothenburg Motor Show in the aim to develop further strong driving characteristics than the standard model. The car was started as a symbol as well as the communication platform for the extension of the Polestars brand. It has been powered by a 2.5 liter, 4-cylinder engine that is capable of producing about 405 bhp and a torque of 510 Nm. The car is available with a 6-speed manual transmission along with an all wheel drive option. This model has a unitary steel chassis and the font the as well as the rear suspension features ohlins springs and shock absorbers. The 2011 Volvo C30 Polestar is based on Polestars unique experience in the development of Volvo C30 into a race car. Both interior and exterior design of the car displays the Polestars aerodynamic and driving properties which are derived from many years of testing and development of the C30 model. The interior has been designed with highest level of materials that helps in providing good performance and function. The braking has been improved as it features power and handling Brembo brakes. The 2011 Volvo C30 Polestar aerodynamics and exterior design have been based on the Polestars extensive race car testing and the suspension is upgraded along with the race teams partner Ohlins. The interior also looks functional and welcoming which has been specially made to reinforce the C30 interior.
