

The Daihatsu Ceria is a small five-door hatchback that was introduced in three versions and it was available in Indonesia from the year 1994 to 2009. The car featured a 659 cc, 3-cylinder engine producing 31 hp, 847 cc, 3-cylinder engine with 36 hp and 847 cc, 3-cylinder engine that is able to generate 49 hp. It also had 5-speed manual transmission or 3-speed automatic transmission. This model was developed on a monocoque framework that has a seating capacity for five passengers. It is a slightly modified Daihatsu Mira L200, but it maintained the monocoque structure as well as tweaked its engines. The Daihatsu Ceria was available with a wheelbase of 2,280 mm, length of 3,345 mm, width of 1,395 mm, height of 1,415 mm and it had a weight of around 1,373 lb. This model was also introduced in various places all over the world in different names. The original model underwent two minor facelifts which includes a grille and bumpers that were integrated to support to a larger grille. The second change was a slight facelift that had body-colored side moldings, reprofiled front bumper along with larger indicators and a new grille. The Daihatsu Ceria exterior features include rounder headlights, bumpers and taillights. The interior was available with flushed dashboard featuring instrumentation panel in the middle. The car was introduced with a price tag of around £5,000 in the United Kingdom and it was also the cheapest model on sale.
