Even if it is 1st of April, Bavarians are serious: the BMW M3 pick-up is actually a boast that created the fastest pick-up from the series. It’s just that the others could talk about: M3 Pick-Up is … unique. And will remain so.

Little is known about the BMW 6 Series next generation. The design will be changed, but the details will disappear, so that the new 6 Series will respect the recipe or the new 7 Series and Z4. So the new BMW 6 Series will adopt a mandatory option presented in these first spy photos. In the engines category, the main change expected a high end, where the current BMW M6 V10 will give up and adopt a supercharged V8 with an amount of over 500 hp.

Rumors on the future of BMW X4 crossover-coupe was confirmed by the president of the German manufacturer, Norbert Reithofer, in an interview given just a few days ago for the Auto Motor und Sport.
Without giving technical details, Reithofer hinted that the future BMW X4 will take a number of elements from the new X3. Thus, the supply of SAV’s (Sports Activity Vechicle) from BMW will be completed with a fifth model. In terms of length, X4 will be similar to X3, which measures 4.65 m, but will have a smaller trunk than its brother, because of the profile coupe style. In terms of engines, they will be identical for the two models.

X3 / X4 combination will achieve the already existing recipe X5 / X6. Future BMW X4 crossover coupe will have, of course, BMW’s top facilities entirely transmitted, Stop & Start system, head-up display or voice commands for various functions, navigation, rain / fog / tire pressure / light / system faulty sensors and other options as leather, wood and so on.
After the big success with the Bavarian X6, BMW pushed to consider launching a younger brother. And if lately rumors have circulated only now became official: the new X4 will be released in 2012!

Entering SUV’s market and looking to handle even the coupe segment, BMW X4 will be positioned between the X3 and X6, said Norbert Reithofer, the company’s number one man. The range of engines will be made of the same units found on the current X3, with power ranging from 184 hp and 306 hp.

Bavarians have presented the first official pictures and information about the new BMW 3 Series, the best-selling mid-range premium vehicle.

BMW 3 Series has reached the sixth generation. The mid-range premium model began its career in 1975 and with each new version released, it has consolidated its position as best-selling BMW. The new 3 Series is aligned to the new current design of the Bavarian house, taking its own fashion lines in older siblings, as the 5 and 7 Series.
The new front headlights gives an elongated impressed, because they have adopted the LED technology for daytime running lights and bi-xenon lamps square. Also, the typical BMW grille is enlarged. Side brings outstanding visual effects due to convex shape of the bonnet. Bottom seems to be a tribute to the high class model of the German company, BMW 5 Series.

But not only the aesthetics of the new BMW 3 Series is evolved from its predecessor, also the outer dimensions, which were subtly increased. Thus, the future star Bavarian middle-class benefits from 93mm in addition to length, compared with his old generation and more generous with 50mm chassis, to the delight of passengers. Although it has not received any official confirmation from BMW, BMW M1 concept is shown and presented at the Geneva Motor Show in March by our sources close to the mark. Meanwhile, the winter tests continue and behold, this time some photos from Sport Auto Online have spotted a vehicle during one of the experimental extra tests.
The BMW M1 2012 concept is inspired from another BMW, presented in 2007. Also, are circulating some rumors that M1 will be equipped with a revised version of the N55 twin scroll turbo engine with six cylinder engine that produces approximately 345 horsepower and 407 Nm of torque.
M1 series will differentiate from a standard model with its more muscular appearance, especially in the front, which gets a trapezoidal grille framed by two sockets that allow air to cool the six piston brake calipers. The grid allows more air into the high performance intercooler. Under the grille, the headlights follow the appearance of the M type, model M1: the recessed lights help to highlight the front, providing a much more sportier look than the conventional 1 Series Coupé.
The rear of the car is larger, also with larger wheel. The classic “duck tail” appearance returns with a bumper that is now integrated with the trunk for a more unified and streamlined look.
The rear speaker area gets inspiration from the standard 135i, but the air ducts are separated from the quad exhaust pipes, typical for the M. The cars roof is reinforced with carbon fiber to help maintaining a reduced weight.
