The Cadillac Allante is the first ultra-luxury roadster produced by the company from 1987 to 1993. It was available with different engine options such as 4.1 liter HT-4100 V8 engine, 4.5 liter HT-4500 V8 engine and 4.6 liter Northstar V8 engine along with a 4-speed 4T60 automatic and 4-speed 4T80 automatic transmission. About 21,000 models were developed during its production period of about seven years. The body of the car was made in Italy by Pininfarina and later was mated to the chassis. This model was built to restore Cadillac its place as a premium luxury automobile company. The Cadillac Allante was introduced with a wheelbase of 2,525 mm, length of 4,536 mm, width of 1,867 mm, height of 1,326 mm and it also weighed about 3,720 lb. The front-wheel drive powertrain was very unique in its class as it was rare among the touring and high-priced sports cars and it also received serious criticism from many for this feature. The car had a removable aluminum hardtop, first power retractable AM/FM/Cellular Telephone antenna, roller valve lifters, tuned intake manifold and high-flow cylinder heads. It also featured Bosch ABS III 4-wheel disc brakes and independent strut-based suspension system in the front and rear. The Cadillac Allante was well received by most of the people for its new engine, but it had a poor handling with a front wheel drive layout. The car underwent many changes during its production period which also included cellular telephone on the lockable center console.

The Cadillac Le Mans is a concept car that was introduced in the year 1953 and it was named after the prestigious 24 Hours of LeMans race in France. Even though it is considered as a concept model, about 4 units were developed by the company. It also features a 6391 cc V8 engine that is able to generate about 250 bhp and hydramatic 4-speed automatic transmission along with a rear wheel drive. The chassis was created with fiberglass body on a steel ladder frame. The front suspension was available with double wishbones, coil springs and the rear suspension had live axle, semi-elliptic leaf springs. The Cadillac Le Mans had a wheelbase of 2946 mm, length of 4978 mm and a weight of 4404.8 lbs. The car was developed a low-profile design and it also featured two-seats as well as fiberglass body. The front-end styling was completely different from other existing model from the company and the rear-end styling was also changed with more modern Tailfin. The Cadillac Le Mans also features quad headlamps, exhaust configuration, roof saddle, fluted side panel, windshield, spoke wheels, gull-wing bumpers along with bullet tips. The pointed bullet shaped gull-wing front bumper can also be seen on most of the cars from Cadillac after this period. It had a fluted lower body panel at the front and the doors were based on the Brougham prototype. This is the first model to feature quad headlights which later became popular among Cadillac cars.

The Cadillac Urban Luxury is a concept vehicle that was introduced at the Los Angeles Auto Show in the year 2010. The vehicle features a turbocharged 1.0 liter 3-cylinder engine along with a dry dual-clutch transmission. It is capable of providing an estimated fuel economy of 56 mpg in the city and 65 mpg on the highway which is very impressive compared to other similar production versions. The exterior is available with 19 inch wheels, large, scissor-type doors which opens away from the body, rotate in a seamless and elegant motion. The Cadillac Urban Luxury was introduced with a prominent analog speedometer which is similar to a high-end time piece, high-definition head-up display, capacitive multi-touch switches and intuitive electronic control. The steering wheel provides a real-time feedback for an efficient driving along with right-hand touch pad which can be used to interact online. Overall, it is a perfect futuristic vehicle that will suit the present city conditions.

The Cadillac Voyage is a concept car that was introduced in the year 1988 and it was introduced with a 4.5-Litre V-8 engine that was able to generate about 275 hp and 330 ft-lb of torque. The car was available with a 4-wheel drive along with a 5-speed automatic transmission. This model has a computer controlled drivetrain that can automatically switch from rear-wheel drive to a 4-wheel drive in case the sensors determine a slippage in the rear wheels which helps to provide a 50/50 torque split. It also features 4-wheel-disc brakes along with electronic anti-lock braking, 4-wheel independent suspension and electronically controlled transmission. The Cadillac Voyage has a wheelbase of 3038 mm, length of 5400 mm, width of 1976 mm, height of 1356 mm and it also weighed around 3801 lbs. The interior was available with orthopedically-designed seats including twenty pneumatic and mechanical adjustments, cushion heaters along with cushion massage and three memory positions. It was also developed with all the latest all-wheel technology such as front axle which was able to engage automatically when the rear-wheel slippage was detected. The Cadillac Voyage also features antilock braking system, a voice-activated telephone system, high-intensity tail lamps, turn signal indicators and rear-vision video camera. The car had windshield which used to become dark automatically when the bright sun falls on it and the dome was controlled by the driver to avoid sun rays. The car never went into production because of its different features, but it still remains a unique model.

The Cadillac Cyclone is a concept car that looked similar to a jet aircraft and it was developed by Cadillac Division of General Motors in the year 1959. It was introduced with a rear Wheel drive and a 6.4 liter V8 engine that is capable of producing about 325 hp and a Hydra-Matic transmission. This is one of the last models that were made by Harley Earl and it was also a testbed for the futuristic styling and technology. The car was developed on the 104 inch wheelbase chassis and it features a rear-mounted automatic transaxle and an all-wheel independent suspension. The Cadillac Cyclone engine exhaust was ported out ahead of the front wheels. The car also features radar operated crash avoidance system and radar sensors that were mounted in twin nose-cones at the front. It is also known to be one of the most stylistic models due to its unique features such as bubble top canopy which is considered to be the most prominent. The canopy has silver coated for UV protection which can be automatically opened along with sliding electrically operated doors. At the same time, the canopy can be stowed in the rear compartment on a special air-bag base. The Cadillac Cyclone design has been based on the aviation and rocket designs during that period. This was the first model to use Saginaw rotary valve power steering along with power brakes, but unfortunately it failed to enter into production.

The Cadillac Phaeton is a first V-type engine design that was introduced in the 1930s. The vehicle was available with an OHV V-16 cylinder engine that is capable of producing about 165 hp. It was also one of the finest convertible models which were available during the period. The production of the vehicle was affected as it was introduced during the Great Depression which was gripping the nation at the time. It is also known to be one of the most powerful versions from the company.

The Cadillac Sixteen is a stylish and high performance that was introduced as a concept car during in year 2003.  It was available with a 32-valve V16 concept engine that was capable of producing about 1000 along with a 4-speed, electronically controlled, automatic transmission. The engine was integrated with a fuel-saving Active Fuel Management technology which would shut down 12-cylinders in light driving, eight in strenuous driving and only awaken the engine during full acceleration. The Cadillac Sixteen features a long aluminum hood which adds tremendous dash-to-axle dimension to the car and the wheel arches were made to fit 24 inch polished aluminum wheels. The hardtop was available with an all-glass roof, but without B-pillars and the crisp-edged lines on the silver aluminum body panels increases the appearance of the car. The interior was also designed with contemporary style which included Tuscany leather upholstered seats with power adjustable slope, hand-woven silk carpets on the floor with cream color to match the leather upholstery. The Cadillac Sixteen also features front and rear consoles, dash and door panels that were completely trimmed with walnut burl veneer inlays. The dual panels were hinged about a center spine which increases the length of the expansive hood and the hood panels are also power-operated. The head and tail light were available with LED technology which increases the exterior look. Other features include fifth-generation OnStar in-vehicle safety, security communication system, rear-seat DVD information system and Bose sound system.

The Cadillac BLS Wagon was first introduced at the Frankfurt Motor Show in the year 2008 as a first station wagon from the company. It was available with a three gasoline engine, two turbo-diesel engine and one bio-ethanol engine which includes a new 2.0L bio-ethanol fuel that was capable of producing about 200 hp and another new two-stage turbo diesel engine that was able to generate 180 hp. All the models were available with a standard StabiliTrak electronic stability control along with a 6-speed manual transmission and 5 or 6-speed automatic transmissions. It is also available with lot of interior space along with silver roof rails, a tailgate opening with a chrome sill plate, chrome cargo hooks, dark tinted glass rearward of the B-pillar and a cargo cover. The Cadillac BLS Wagon has a three-spoke, leather-wrapped steering wheel, analog clock, leather seating surfaces and heated seats in the interior. The vehicle has a length of 4,716 mm, width of 2,038 mm and a height of 1,543 mm. It also features jewel-like headlamps, wide air intake below the grille, narrow chrome strip on the side windows, fog lamps integrated into the body-color front bumper and tire pressure monitoring system as optional. The Cadillac BLS Wagon is capable of reaching 0-62 mph in about 8.7 seconds along with a top speed of around 220 km/h. This is the first version that has been introduced in the European market with a low-emission and bio-ethanol engine.

The 2013 Cadillac ATS is a new compact sedan that was introduced at the Detroit Auto Show. The car will be available with three engine options such as 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine producing 200hp, turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine that generates 270 hp and 3.6-liter V6 engine with 318 hp. All the models will feature a 6-speed manual or an automatic transmission with optional all-wheel drive system. The 2013 Cadillac ATS interior features include 8-inch LCD multi-touch sensitive screen on the center instrument panel and CUE infotainment system. It will also have 17-inch alloy wheels, LED-infused headlights, vertical taillights, trunk spoiler and an active shutter grille.

Finally, Cadillac ATS enters the stage with a mid-range premium model at the Detroit Motor Show 2012. So, are they willing  to scare names such as BMW 3 Series or Audi A4, with the new ATS overseas?

After the Americans have shown that they can raise the level of a BMW 5 Series, behold, now at Detroit in 2012, the new Cadillac ATS announces its claims in the mid-range through saloon, which promises to make fried days to the BMW 3 Series.

From a visual standpoint, the new Cadillac ATS seems to have many assets: a sporty front end and full of temperament, a dynamic and modern profile and the rear of the car gives strength and elegance. Overall, the ATS is easily identifiable as a Caddy - brand which remains one of the symbols of luxury on four wheels to Americans.
Inside, the new Cadillac ATS is not an avant garde as the exterior, but remains a strong sporty, luxury associated with its success and the taste for premium sedan fans. Counting on symmetry, the center console is dominated by central touchscreen display of 5.7 inches. Passengers have plenty of room, thanks to the wheelbase of 2775 mm, slightly lower than the 3 Series, while the total length reaches to 4.64 meters.
