The Citroen C-Metisse is a concept car that was first introduced at the Paris Motor Show in the year 2006. The car has been powered by a diesel hybrid power unit such as a V6 HDi diesel engine that is capable of producing about 208 bhp and 400Nm of torque along with a 6-speed automatic transmission. It is able to reach from 0-60 mph in just 6.2 seconds along with a top speed of around 155 mph. This model features 4-wheel drive mode and ESP sensors which can alert during low grip conditions for using the electric motors. The Citroen C-Metisse interior is extremely comfortable with white leather seats that has been surrounded by smart leather trim and aluminum inserts. There are separate independent air conditioning controls, roof lighting and plenty of space for all the passengers. The driving position is also made easy with features such as fighter pilot style buttons on the roof console for starting the car, fixed-centered controls steering wheel and mounted gear paddles. The Citroen C-Metisse is available with a unique central console which extends into the cabin through three illuminated strips to inform passengers about current mode of hybrid propulsion. It also has suspended head restraint, electric adjustment of the steering wheel along with aluminum pedal assembly. The car can be driven in ZEV mode which is a silent all-electric mode to reduce the fuel consumption, pollutant emissions and the Diesel Particulate Filter System to support the environment.<br />

The Citroen Numero 9 is a new concept vehicle that will join the DS line-up. It is a plug-in full-hybrid vehicle that also features a 1.6 liter THP petrol engine that is capable of producing about 225 hp and 202 lb-ft of torque. The vehicle also has an electric motor at the rear axle that generates 70 bhp and 147 lb-ft of torque. It has autonomy of 31 miles with pure electric mode and produces an impressive fuel economy of 1.7 l /100 km. The Citroen Numero 9 is able to reach 0-60 mph in about 5.4 seconds along with an estimated top speed of around 152 mph. It has been developed on a 3 meter wheelbase along with the length of 4.9 meters and width of 1.94 meters. The exterior is available with black paint including subtle hints of violet, new set of 21 inch wheels, a new floating roof along with chrome trim in discreet DS marking and the glazed side surfaces flow into the rear window. The Citroen Numero 9 has a new front-end identity along with a grille which also flows into the full-LED headlights. Other features include windscreen pillars to support the air flow around the cabin, a rear spoiler to reinforce the fastback effect and turbine wheels along with integrated fins which increases the air flow around the wheel arches. The vehicle will be unveiled at the 2012 Beijing Motor Show and enter into production by next year.<br />

<p>The French brand, Citroen is struggling to build a much higher class, more sporty and luxurious sedan to compete with the German models. With the new DS5, Citroen surpassed himself and rose to unknown heights onto the French top luxury cars.</p>
<p>October 1955 at the Paris Motor Show. The stand of the Citroen DS has emerged. After that, there were 12,000 applications for this car. After 20 years, the car caused a big sensation, so that they have sold nearly 1.5 million units. And it is very clear that DS is one of those models that have marked the auto industry in terms of technology and in terms of design and last but not least, in terms of quality. As it this was needed, a DS won the 1959 Monte Carlo Rally, so here is another reason why you should buy this car. He did it in 1966 but was a controversial victory over Team BMC, who had a Mini Cooper. About DS, there is more to write about, but perhaps the most legendary story is that Charles de Gaulle escaped with life, after an accident, because of the air suspension. After this incident, DS entered into legend.<br />
In 2009, Citroën named out of the box and created a series of separate and distinct models from the classical line. The first model ever produced since 2009 in the series, was presented in the same year at Geneva and was named: DS3, which was a great success. In the United Kingdom, Citroen has sold more DS3 models than the Mini itself.<br />

The Citroen C-Buggy is a off-road vehicle that was first introduced at the Madrid Motor Show in the year 2006 as a concept model. The vehicle is a two-seater city model that comes with a Dune buggy and SUV styling. It is based on the Citroen C-Airplay, a concept that was unveiled in the year 2005 and the C-Buggy also features similar styling and dimensions. This model has been developed as a radical design along with its non-existent roof when compared to the C-Airplay model. The vehicle is available with an HDi diesel engine that was capable of producing about 173 bhp along with a 6-speed electronic gearbox system. The Citroen C-Buggy had a very funky design as well as a futuristic interpretation of a 2-seater model. It does not have windscreen, windows and roof, but it features big wheels, wide wheel arches, glass door portholes, sump guard hint and carefree charm. It also has a high performance parallel dual turbo along with injection systems and new combustion which supports the engine to set new standards in flexibility, fuel consumption and drivability. The Citroen C-Buggy gearbox system combines with electro-hydraulic gearbox control which offers smooth clutch management and fast gear changing. The vehicle also has many off road items such as a slightly raised suspension and a sump guard. It features tinted glass inserts on the lower body side panels and there are no doors which makes it a completely unique model.<br />

The Citroen M35 was introduced in the year 1969 and was available till 1971 where about 267 units were produced. It was available with a 995 cc Wankel engine that was capable of producing about 49 bhp along with a hydropneumatic suspension. This model was only an experimental vehicle and was not officially available in the market. It was only supplied to the loyal Citroen customers to receive their ideas about this new version. The rotary engine was expected to be satisfactory and the dual rotor version was available with a GS Birotor in 1974. The Citroen M35 was introduced with the GS 1015’s gearbox along with a normal shift pattern. The suspension of the vehicle was also used in other GS line after 1970. The interior was developed with seats that were able to recline just above the waist and it was also used in the SM model. The vehicle was capable of reaching a top speed of around 144 km/h and it also weighed about 815 kg. This model is considered to be the coupe version of the Citroen Ami with few different features. The Citroen M35 is a very unique model ever produced by the company during that period and it is also the only a-type version ever to feature a hydraulic suspension. It had a luxurious interior, unique windscreen, bonnet with different locks, headlights, front grille, specially designed chassis and a special suspension which reduced engine running noise.<br />

The Citroen GQ is a concept car in the year 2010 that was developed by the company in collaboration with the British magazine. The car has been made with sophisticated features along with contemporary styling which can be seen in the front end and around rear. It also has strong body contours and sleek concave rear windscreen which is a signature of Citroen design. This model is available with a plug-in Hybrid along with a 1,598cc, 4-cylinder direct injection petrol engine. It also features a simple military inspired interior which is a perfect counterpoint to Gallic flair of the exterior. The Citroen GQ is capable of reaching 0-60 mph in about 4.5 seconds along with a top speed of around 155mph. The cabin of the car also looks futuristic which can be accessed with the rear coach doors which reveals a spacious and comfortable interior. The interior has been developed with detailing and upholstery selections that were offered by Patrick Grant. The CO2 emission is about 80g/km in this new concept model. The Citroen GQ has been developed by keeping things mind such as dynamic performance and environmental responsibility. This model is not the all-out sports car, but it has performance as well as travelling. Mark Lloyd, the Chief Designer of Citroen&#8217;s International Projects has said this model will fit with the current attitudes of the conspicuous consumption. The car is just a concept version and the company has no plans for its development.<br />

The vehicle featured a front-wheel drive along with a 4-speed manual transmission. The Citroen FAF was capable of reaching from 0-60 mph in about 40.8 seconds along with a top speed of around 58 mph. The vehicle has a wheelbase of 2400 mm, length of 3585 mm, width of 1560 mm, height of 1585 mm and it also weighed about 1587 lbs. It had an estimated fuel capacity of around 32 liter. The main place where this model was actually developed was Africa as it was allowed with easy production in the developing countries. The Citroen FAF sales were very low during its production period when compared to its predecessors. This model was originally based on the Citroen 2CV and the FAF stood for French Facile a Fabriquer and Facile a Financer which means Easy to Manufacture, Easy to Finance. The Citroen DS 21 Pallas was introduced during 1970s as a tribute to the series Columbo i. The driving experience of this model is everything that should be representative of the original iconic design. The Citroen DS 21 Pallas used to be one of the most beautiful models when it was introduced into the market. It also has hydraulic gear selector, centrifugal regulator, brake circuit and clutch control. The portion of the main hydraulic system used to be the high pressure reservoir which had a pressure from 130 to 150 bar in two accumulators. The original hydropneumatic system which needs vegetable oil and later it was changed to synthetic fluid. One of the major disadvantages in this model was waster used to enter into the hydraulic components which caused deterioration as well as expensive maintenance work. The Citroen DS 21 Pallas had a length of 4800 mm, width of 1790 mm, height of 1470 mm and it also weighed about 1280 kg. The Citroen DS is known for its futuristic and aerodynamic body design along with innovative technology such as hydropneumatic self-leveling suspension system. It also had smooth and aerodynamic body lines that created a futuristic look to the car.<br />

<p>According to the current trend of saving energy and reduce polution that can save the Earth&#8217;s atmosphere, Citroen brings another hybrid concept in Paris, called C-Metis which is the second hybrid model, first as a demonstration model (C4 HDI Hybrid), presented this spring at the Geneva Motor Show 2012.</p>
<p>With a very long hood and short rear overhang forces, Citroen C-Metis brings again into focus the golden age proportions for Grand Touring. With a length of almost five meters, the concept creates a robust effect. With a better aerodynamic shape, huge air intakes and round shapes, all together gives a very futuristic look to the new concept and fits perfectly into science fiction.</p>
<p>The C-Metis high-tech concept lay emphasis on passenger comfort. The Concept comes with a larger cabin, comfortable seats and the two front seats are anchored in the ceiling just to provide headrests. Because of the three meter wheelbase, the interior is more than generous to those in the back seat.</p>
<p>Lackin onto tje middle pillar and doors that open vertically (in opposition), these provides very easy access into the cabin. After installing the convenient &#8220;chairs&#8221; of C-Metis, you think you are at the board of an aircraft. The feeling is given from the begining by the position of the roof, the driving position ofered by the seat and he feeling given by the car while you are driving it. Further, the most important commands used by the driver can be used directly from the fixed steering wheel (already a tradition of Citroen models).<br />

The Citroen C1 Chrono is a special edition vehicle that was introduced in France during the year 2007 after the success of the standard Citroen C1. The car was available with 2 different types of engines such as 1.0i petrol engine including 3-door along with manual gearbox and SensoDrive automated manual gearbox. The second engine is 1.0i petrol engine including 5-door along with manual gearbox and SensoDrive automated manual gearbox. The car is available with different types of exterior color options such as Scarlet red, Ra yellow, Caldera black, Argon blue, Carlinite grey and Damas blue. The Citroen C1 Chrono is also available with a special color option including Super gloss metallic paint which was available as option. The car was developed with C1′s dynamic styling with sporting demeanor underscoring the vehicles lively. It also features 14-inch alloy wheels, RDS radio-CD player, air conditioning and a rev counter. There are few new features that have been added in this version compared to the standard Citroen C1 such as windscreen pillars, tailgate, bonnet, dynamic styling and hotting up the hatch along with stickers on the front doors. It also has white rearview mirror housings, white surrounds for the electric window controls, instrument panel, an elegant design with white door handles and white gear-lever base. The Citroen C1 Chrono which also has more attractive look compared to the standard version and it is expected to attract the car lovers with this sport-themed special edition.<br />
