MASERATI GRANTURISMO

You know a car is seriously cool when Fahad Majidi tells you he’s ordered one before they are even on sale. This, is after all, a man who loves cars even more than he loves himself. And this is Olympic class adoration, trust me. The maserati granturismo Has that effect on people though. It’s the Quattroporte for single men, sleeker, faster, and wilder. It looks magnificent; a nose that flares arrogantly and delightedly, like Usain Bolt’s nostrils when  he knew he’d got that 100mph Olympic final in the bag (In other words, before he even crouched down to start it). My press car had a seductive, understated dark grey exterior, and a flame red interior that resembled the centre of a volcano when it starts spewing molten lava. And the Etna comparison doesn’t end there: turn on the Maserati’s engine, and you are back in the volcano again. A silent, dormant monster that suddenly erupts with the kind of noise that villager must make when the lava heads their way. So proper GT or urban poseur? I was curious to try the Maser in the three situations – busy central London, a clear motorway, and the leafy country lanes of east Sussex where I grew up.

After trying on all the tracks, I discovered a nasty little scraping noise. But these are trifling quibbles. I have tried quite a few new cars in the last year, and enjoyed them al. lets be honest here, is there a car cost more than $75,000 that isn’t going to be good to drive? But this is the first time I have handled one back and thought, as Danish Muzaffar said when he first clapped eyed on the Jaguar E-type: ‘I want one, and I want it now’. And I reckon I know a cunning way to get past  the long waiting list: Mr. Cowells’ legendary small boredom threshold will almost certainly have already kicked in, and I can but his off him.

ITALIAN BROTHERHOOD! ‘’MASERATI MC-12’

The Italians have done it again. Well I think I should start an “Inspiration Series”, because inspired cars just keep getting better and better with the Germans then the Italians and so on. The Italians have got quite a brotherly network in the auto making business. Ferrari a leading company in the business has co worked with Maserati to create a new supercar and as brothers they do not want to disappoint each other’s customers. So with two hands together we are presented the Maserati MC-12.

The Maserati MC-12 has a lot to offer you guys for sure. Even with such a basic design the Maserati MC-12 dazzles one’s mind off. The basic platform for the MC-12 is a two door sports coupe featuring a hard top roof or what is known as a targa top. The body of the MC-12 is made entirely of carbon fiber, reducing weight drastically. To further reduce some weight the detachable roof has to be stored some where else but no in the car. The car itself is quite gigantic too, for better stability. The MC-12 stands wider than a Hummer H2 and in the length phase it’s quite larger than the inspired Ferrari Enzo.

Well the performance is not up to its roots, Ferrari Enzo but it still packs a punch. The MC-12 brings with it a 6 Liter V12 engine derived from Enzo Ferrari. The engine has been given some custom touches to produce one of Maserati’s wishes. The MC-12 gives out 621 brake horse power at 7500 RPM. This power allows the MC-12 to attain a top speed of 205 mph. As I had always said that inspiration leads to quite a lot of great things and one of them is in front of you!

MASERATI ’08 IS REVEALED

It’s the sun-affectionate sister to the 2008 Gran-Turismo coupe and the 1st hard-top translatable from a much fancied Italian auto producer. In all, Maserati’s most recent Spyder stares like the best ever in the tag line yet.

What we scrambled to Know about the 2010 Maserati Spyder:

After decades of red ink and expensive patchiness, Maserati is firmly in the back with coupés that many stare as the most excellent this marquee has ever busted out. In particular, the 2-year-old Quattro-porte (that means “four door”) sedan, the newest in a line broadening back to the 1960s, has been a huge image and sales vaccination for the Italian concert icon.

Folding crown aside, the 2010 Maserati Spyder will split most rudiments with the Gran-Turismo coupe (slotted to institute sale in summer 2008). Both utilize a condensed version of the Quattro-porte podium with its 4-wheel dual wishbone suspension unit, huge disc brakes, and an aluminum 4.2-liter dual cam V8 motor, all planned with assistance from corporate stable mate Ferrari the brand for prancing horse.

Like its sedan counterpart, the 2010 Maserati Spyder is bigger than it glances in pictures, measuring 192 inches in length and almost 73 inches wide over a sleekly 115.8-inch wheelbase. Regardless of the munificent sizing, both variants are 2+2s with restricted back-seat space. They’re also reasonably grave at over 2 tons, thanks partially to all-steel edifice, hitherto Maserati asserts the GT coupe accomplishes 0-60 mph in just under 5.1 seconds and sprints all the way up to 177 mph. If one source is right, the Spyder may be little if any slower, as it’s tipped to use more lightweight materials, thus offsetting the extra weight of the convertible-top hardware.
