Nissan GT-R’s fame is due to the undeniable performance of the car and its slightly exclusive air and the continuous changes that it received during the year. Having undergone a facelift at the beginning of 2011, Godzilla, as it was known internationally as a supercar prepares to welcome the 2012 with some very tempting changes, purely technical. The most important information about the new Nissan GT-R is the adding of a 3.8 liter V6 engine, which gives more 20 horsepower to the car and raises the action to 550 hp. Thus, the couple reached the value of 632 Nm, it is available between 3200 rpm and 5800 rpm. All these improvements were possible by reviewing the intercooler and the exhaust system. According to the Nissan officials, during the Nurburgring lap, the car could make a better time than 7:20. Although, its improved performance is visible, so that the average consumption of the car fell from 12 l / 100 km to 11.8 l / 100 km. This upgrade was possible due to the increased pressure in the turbine, the change of distribution and the adoption of an evacuation with a larger diameter – while the Nissan engineers say that they have managed to obtain a decrease in consumption and emissions. Also, the Launch Control system was modified to protect the gearbox. Outside the car is much the same, it’s just that, as we have seen in a recent preview, that GT-R is now LED available with position lights, integrated into a redesigned front bumper and the thresholds were slightly modified onto the rear spoiler, improving the overall aerodynamic (The cX coefficient decreased from 0.27 to 0.26).

Thd B Segment is coming with a new compact car in its range, called Micra Tekna. Therefore, it should not surprise the interest of manufacturers in this segment. Nissan strengthens its position in the B Segment with the launch in Europe of the new Micra. The third model from the Nissan small class makes place after Notes and Juke.
Auto analysts say that on the market, over time, it will gradually replace the lower class segment. If these predictions will come true, Nissan already boasts three models in this segment: Juke, Note and Micra. The last news of the Japanese is the new Micra, a model that has reached its fourth generation. The nostalgic people from nowaday, probably regret that they did not achieved the second generation of Micra, that cure little lady bug, which looked like it was alive. Maybe by 2033, I should think of this second generation, it will involve 30 years of production until they will be out of them and I could never ever looked at this car like a historic car. In terms of design, we talk about an evolution, so the model is preserving its visual identity. Maybe it is not the nicest model in the class but still has some hidden advantages under the body. Some of you out there may consider the new facelift of this model only a bit larger, but it is not like that. The fourth generation Micra is built on a platform that was developed by Nissan to provide the quality urban design. In urban traffic, you do not need many miles to find out if the car has a good handling.

Nissan shows its consistency at Tokyo Motor Show 2012, presenting the third concept car under the name Pivo 3. But the “wow” factor is that the first two proposals disappeared and Nissan Pivo 3 apparently foresees a more conventional city electric car.

Probably everyone thinks about “the pivot” while hearing the Nissan Pivo name. Japanese think that this was applied in a very ingenious in the first two Pivo concepts, which enjoyed a 360 degree swiveling cab, so this seems a revolutionary idea for a possible model and now, at the Tokyo Motor Show 2012, Japanese recur with a more conventional Nissan Pivo 3, which seems kind of Renault Twizy, but a little bit more dressed. The Pivot point remains, however, applied to the drivetrain, where the rear wheels are turning and Nissan Pivo 3 can rotate completely around the central axis. Nissan Pivo 3 has two doors that open to the rear, sliding, much like the same style as those on the Peugeot 1007. A practical idea in crowded parking lots, offering to the three passengers a much easier access in and out of the car. The seat layout is like the ones on the McLaren F1 supercar, so that the driver is sitting in the center and the other two passengers in the rear. The car has 3.05 meters long and the turning circle is about 2 meters, due to the spin of all 4 wheels. The cabin has a simply design, with all signs and displays concentrated in a digital dashboard, in front of the driver. The steering lacks the top, which contributes to a very good visibility at the dashboard, where are placed the side displays for the exterior cameras that take the role of mirrors.

It also features dual-zone air conditioning, and keyless pushbutton ignition and Intelligent Key. The body of the car assure a smooth ride because of its advanced suspension along with optimized high-stiffness, noise isolation and vibration absorption. The 2013 Nissan Sylphy exterior features include front grille and LED-bordered headlamps, LED taillights, eye-catching chrome trim, well-proportioned aerodynamic body and a sharply angled trunk lid. The 2011 Nissan Ellure is a new concept car that was first introduced at the Los Angeles Auto Show. The car is available with a supercharged 2.5-liter inline 4-cylinder engine along with Intelligent Dual Clutch Control and a 25 kW electric motor. It also features an Xtronic CVT and front-wheel drive along with independent suspension, advanced drive-by-wire electric/hydraulic steering and regenerative braking to provide a very dynamic driving experience. This also has PURE DRIVE badge which represents Nissan’s range of low CO2/low fuel consumption internal combustion engine. All the PURE DRIVE vehicles are available with most advanced technologies from Nissan to provide optimal balance of top-level fuel consumption. The 2011 Nissan Ellure interior is a showpiece with including floating center console along with a sculptural, see-through effect covered in white leather and backlit red nighttime lighting. The rear seats have been covered in gray ultra-suede along with shock wave carpeting design. It also features hidden audio system speakers, recessed lighting design and armrest touch controls along with haptic feedback. The 2011 Nissan Ellure is available with a console-mounted central controller that has intuitive control for navigation, HVAC, audio and other functions. The exterior features include 21 inch 5-spoke aluminum-alloy wheels mounted along with low-rolling resistance Michelin tires, new front grille, molded side rearview camera housings, full underbody pan and small wheel openings. The exterior has been painted with Geode White tri-coat mica color which features pearlescent/gold flake along with a blue aspect.

The Nissan Juke Nismo is a new concept car that was unveiled at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show designed for an entirely new sector of the market. It will feature an updated 1.6 liter direct injection turbocharged petrol engine that has been made to produce high power of output as well as performance along with aerodynamic specialists and racecar bodywork. The car has been finished with the signature Nismo colors of pearl white along with red highlights and a body kit that has been developed to look good. There are revised lower bumpers in the front and rear along with wider wings and sill side skirts. The Nissan Juke Nismo is available with new grille pattern, modified tailgate spoiler along with side elements to control the airflow more efficiently. The car is expected to enter into production during the next year and it has already received good response from the people.

The 2012 Nissan Qashqai is a new compact crossover SUV that is available in four trim levels such as Visia, Acenta, Tekna and N-TEC. It also features a new state of the art 1.6 dCi engine that is capable of producing about 130 PS and 320 Nm of torque at 1750 rpm along with a continuously variable transmission. The vehicle is able to reach from 0-60 mph in about 10.3 seconds along with a top speed of around 190 km/h. This model has a Stop / Start System and it produces CO2 of 119g/km in the mass market with real economic and environmental benefits for the consumers. The 2012 Nissan Qashqai has a wheelbase of 2,760 mm, length of 4,535 mm, width of 1,785 mm and a height of 1,605 mm. The vehicle is available with new Around View Monitor by Nissan which includes for the first time an innovative feature added on a C-segment model. There are also small cameras that have been mounted on the places like front grille, tailgate and door mirrors. This system is able to project an overhead 360 degree helicopter view of the surrounding area of the vehicle. The 2012 Nissan Qashqai is available with front or all mode 4-wheel drive along with multi-link in the rear and fully independent suspension at the front. Overall, this model will be a part of Nissan’s leadership in the Crossover market and also keep it ahead of other SUVs.

The Nissan Micra C+C is a four-seat convertible model that was first introduced in the year 2005. It was introduced in four trim levels such as Urbis, Sport, Essenza and Active Luxury. The car was available with different types of engine options such as 1.4 liter petrol engine, 1.6 liter petrol engine and a 1.5 liter diesel engine along with a standard 5-speed transmission. This model was specially designed at new London-based Nissan Design Europe studio, it was developed at Nissan Technical Centre Europe and finally built at the Washington plant. The car also features a convertible hardtop and not with the standard canvass top. It had an electric folding glass roof that was made by the Karmann coachworks and it was available with a 2+2 seating layout. The Nissan Micra C+C has a wheelbase of     2,430 mm, length of 3820 mm, width of 1670 mm and it also weighs about vehicle 1,200 kg. This model was originally introduced only in Europe and later the sales were also started in Japan after it was introduced at the Tokyo Auto Show in the year 2007. The Nissan Micra C+C safety features include ABS along with brake assistance, passenger seat locks along with central locking, electronic stability control and four airbags. This model was also easy to drive because of its light steering and easy controls. The roof was not fixed and the body was stiffer along with a tweaked suspension to ensure smoothness.

Nissan wants to strengthen its position as the most important car manufacturer with the new Nissan Hi-Cross crossover Concept presented at Geneva Motor Show 2012.

Besides Nissan Murano, Nissan Qashqai and Nissan Juke, the Japanese will add a crossover in its range, foreshadowed by the new concept from Geneva 2012. It is called suggestive: Nissan Hi-Cross and its creators intention is to provide a preview of future design directions that Nissan crossovers will receive in the future.

Just like we saw the Pathfinder concept in Detroit in 2011, the new Nissan Hi-Cross concept is based on a fresh image, more refined, but it is not giving up to something robust and sporty and here we are talking about the shape of the car. It has balanced proportions (length of 4.66 meters, width of 1.85 meters and height of 1.67 meters), sizes that aim to rival with crossovers, SUVs, compact and medium car classses sites that offer 7 seats.
Thanks to the wheelbase of 2.78 meters, Nissan Hi-Cross Concept promises plenty of room and places a third row of seats, although it is quite clear that it is intended for the children. In the dashboard, Nissan relies on an almost science fiction style, because the center console is dominated by a large touchscreen display.

So, we find the same idea behind the sport steering wheel with digital indicators with a sophisticated display and controls on the center tunnel, with gearbox and electronic systems that are grouped in a compact way, which looks very interesting. We are curious how much of what we see now will find soon on some Nissan models.
