The Skoda 1201 was first introduced in 1954 and it was produced till the year 1961. The family vehicle was available in 2 different versions such as Saloon and estate along with a panel van. It was available as a 4 door saloon, 3 or 5 door station wagon, a panel van and pick-up truck. The vehicle features a 4-cylinder ohv water-cooled engine that is capable of producing a power of about 33 kW at 4,200 rpm along with a 4-speed gear-box included synchromesh on top three ratios. The power was delivered to the rear wheels through a jointed prop shaft that was specially designed for the vehicle. The Skoda 1201 was also capable of reaching a top speed from 56 mph to 65 mph depending upon the model. The vehicle was available with a steel ponton format body. There were also flashing turn signal indicators and semaphore style trafficators in its front wings. The retro-fitting of flashing indicators was similar to the previous versions which used to be an imperfect method for distinguishing the two models. The Skoda 1201 estate was also available with a wheelbase of 2686 mm, length of 4356 mm, width of 1689 mm and it also weighs about 2491 lbs. The vehicle was specially developed by Skoda Auto at the plant that was set up at Mlada Boleslav. The production of the vehicle was stopped during the year 1961 and the next version known as Skoda 1202 was introduced.

The 2011 Skoda Rapid is a new version from the company that was introduced first at the Geneva Auto Show. The car is available with a 1.6 liter petrol engine that is capable of producing about 105 bhp at 5250 rpm and torque of 153 Nm at 3800 rpm. The car also has a better fuel efficiency compared to other similar versions as it provides a mileage of 15.4 kmpl for the petrol version. The 2011 Skoda Rapid interior has been developed with high quality fabric/leather upholstery which offers a high-class experience for the passengers as well as the drivers. It also features a dash-board that has been created with the best quality plastics along with console with ore symmetry and instrument cluster. The safety features include dual airbags, anti-lock braking system along with EBD, power steering and power windows. The car has a long wheelbase with increased leg-room to make the passengers feel more comfortable. The exterior has been based on the Volkswagen Vento, but this version has more symmetrical appearance as well as sturdy body. The 2011 Skoda Rapid also has front and rear fog lamps, body colored outside rear view mirrors, parallel front grills and body colored front and rear bumpers. It is available with body colored door handles, roof integrated antenna and attractive alloy wheels/ wheel covers. Other important features include tilt and telescopic steering wheel, height adjustable driver seat, rear defogger, front center armrest and engine immobilizer.

The Skoda Fabia RS 2000 is a concept car that was introduced at the Worthersee GTI festival. The car features a 2.0-litre turbocharged 4-cylinder engine and it has a similar look of a supermini which has been customized. It has a seating capacity for 4 passengers including rear side doors. The Skoda Fabia RS 2000 is expected to attract the customers who are looking for the hatch drivers. It also features sport bucket front seats, new front bumper and the exterior is available in green color. The car has been developed with carbonfibre and it has been accented with a green trim.

Czechs try to keep us awake the interest for Skoda Vision D concept with a new set of photos and anticipates that the Octavia 3 is paired with a supermodel car.
We could say that Skoda Vision D, opened at Geneva Motor Show 2011, represents a milestone for the Czech brand, because it shows a great change of image from Skoda cars that we see in the near future on the road.
According to chief designer Josef Kaban, Skoda Vision D style concept proves ”proud,confident but not an arrogant” car with ”a sporty powerful look, combined with simple beauty and youthful contemporary appearance.” Perhaps that’s why the new Vision D image appears next to a supermodel …
Officials confirmed that the headlights and fog lights, the grille with little “nose” that contains the logo and the rectangular taillights are items that you will find on the new generation of Skoda Octavia 3, which will be launched at Paris Motor Show 2012 and will enter the European market in early 2013.
The new Skoda Octavia 3 will have a generous interior space and an evolved interior design, so that the car will take advantage of some gadgets, including a central touch screen for infotainment system controls.
According to sources, Skoda Vision D is the projected version of the tailgate Skoda Octavia 3, while the concept MissionL will be the new Octavia classic sedan in three volumes and with a simple hood for the trunk. However, it is expected that at the Geneva Motor Show 2012, the Czechs will surprise us with an evolution of the Vision D concept, much closer to the Octavia 3 range version.

The Skoda 1000 MB is a rear-engine, rear-wheel drive car that was introduced in 1964 and was produced till the year 1969. It features a 1.0 liter I4 engine that was able to produce 42 hp along with a 4-speed manual transmission. The car was capable of reaching 0-62 mph in 27 seconds along with a top speed of around 75 mph. The Skoda 1000 MB also had a fuel economy of 36 mpg. It also had a heater and demister, all-independent front suspension, reclining front seats, full tool kit and boot up front. The car had a length of 4,200 mm, width of 1,610 mm and a height of 1,400 mm.

The 2010 Skoda Octavia RS has been redesigned at the front with RS logo and bold headlamps. It is available with 2 types of engines such as a 2.0 TSI petrol engine that generates 147 kW of power and a 2.0 TDI CR diesel engine that produces a power of 125 kW. Bother the versions have the same 6-speed manual twin-clutch DSG transmission. The 2010 Skoda Octavia RS also has fog lamps along with the Corner function and LED lamps. The car features a new metallic paint and 18 inch Neptune wheels, integrated tailgate lamps with redesigned covers to make it look more attractive.

The Skoda VOS was introduced in 1949 as a large saloon car. It was available with a 5.2 liter engine that was able to produce 120 hp along with a top speed of around 50 mph. The car had a front mounted engine along with conventional mechanical architecture. The Skoda VOS has a wheelbase of 3,200 mm, length of 5,700 mm, width of 1,950 mm, height of 1,750 mm and it also weighed nearly 4 tons. It was available with a 4 door armour plated saloon, 4 door saloon and air-conditioning. Another light-weight version was also introduced during its production period without armour plating.

The 2011 Skoda Superb Combi is a wagon version of the Skoda Superb which was first introduced at the Frankfurt Motor Show. The vehicle is available with three petrol and two diesel engines along with a six-gear manual transmission or a 6-gear direct shift gearbox. It also has standard anti-slip regulation, ESP, 9 airbags, rain sensors,  tyre pressure monitoring system, parking sensors and park assist, brake assist, Bi-Xenon headlamps along with AFS. The 2011 Skoda Superb Combi also features electrically operated tailgate, adaptive front light system, keyless locking and ignition system, etc. It has a length of 4,828 mm, width of 1,817 mm and height of 1,462 mm.

Skoda is really a nice car company especially when it comes to the model Fabia which has always been really popular hatchback. The car combines low fuel consumption, decent comfort and good safety. It is considered to be one of the best cars for urban conditions. All this plus the nice starting price make Skoda Fabia one really nice vehicle for the average person who is looking for a nice car. The quality of the materials is also on a good level so buying a car like this is a good choice.

The Skoda Fabia 5dr Hatchback 1.4 TDI PD 80 3 is a great family car for people who want a car of decent quality which is, however, not too expensive. This Skoda model fits perfectly into that offer, because it is cheap to buy and run, but in the same time has some interesting stuff to offer to its owner. The 1.4 turbo diesel engine is a good addition to this car and can get it going on. Style and comfort are of course at top levels as the Skoda designers have implanted all kinds of extras and features in this car.
