The 2012 Ginetta G60 is available as a limited version where only 50 units are expected to be produced. The car is available with a naturally aspirated Ford Mustang 3.7 liter V6 engine that is capable of producing about 310 at 6500 rpm and a torque of 288 lb-ft at 4500 rpm. It also features a 6-speed Ford gearbox that produces power to the rear wheels through a Quaife limited slip differential. The car is also able to sprint from 0-60 mph in less than 4 seconds along with a top speed of around 165 mph. The 2012 Ginetta G60 is the first model that is available with a heavily reworked version of the carbon fiber-tubbed Farbio GTS. The car is said to be stiffer and easier to manufacture compared to its previous versions. The car is also available with new body panels, a realigned driver position and reduced weight. The interior has been developed with driver-focused design language along with unassisted steering, servo-less brakes, no anti-lock brakes and no electronic driving aids. The absence of all these features takes its total weight to about 2425 lbs which is 881 lbs lighter when compared to the Farbio GTS. It also features new larger grooved and drilled disks along with Alcon 4 pot brake calipers which help in making the deceleration as impressive as the acceleration. All these technical improvements and innovations are expected to contribute to the overall performance of the car.
