The first information about the new Dacia Duster Concept, in its world premiere at Geneva 2011.

Dacia Duster is the first result of collaboration between Renault Design Centre for Central Europe in Bucharest and Renault Design Technology Centre in Guyancourt (France). A very successful result, we would say.
The new car is trying to combine different styles: the cockpit is typical of a sports car driver and the car has access to a specific internal module of MPV (Multi Purpose Vehicle) and the high ground clearance is a characteristic of the crossover.
Dacia Duster expresses robustness, as the Logan has accustomed us with its angular style. The front is unique, inspiring power and the lights are still very much on the side, showing off with the prominent 21 inch wheels.

Figure reveals a side of the very compact car, very close to a coupe or hot hatch. Because the machine name is Duster mobile office, attention has been paid and the car’s interior – actually the cabin layout was a mini-project in itself, so that many technologies are integrated to achieve a remarkable result.

Without any doubts and perhaps the most spectacular car this year on the streets was Range Rover Evoque Si4, which ended the year with a stronger test of the currently available versions: the Si4 turbo engine of 240 hp.

Every time I start to write about Evoque, you think that I just spend dozens of pages talking about how this car looks like, how impressive is, how shocking is to see how it moves down the street, including the new cars remaining in the distant past. Clearly, Land Rover threw at least the Evoque segment so we will see radical changes in world design.

I am happy for them, because only the Si4 can express very well the essence of the Evoque, which is certainly a car with a look that inspires, among many other wonderful things, such as speed.

Si4 is the version that deserves attention in the world, although high consumption in the city (about 15 liters for 100 kilometers) and the purchase price of approximately 54,000 euros for a Prestige version (you need to add optional), are issues that can not be ignored.
