The Caterham CT01 is a Formula One car that is currently competing in the 2012 Formula One season. It also features a 2,400 cc naturally aspirated, mid-mounted V8 engine that is limited to 18,000 rpm. The car is available with a 7-speed semi-automatic gearbox along with a reverse gear. It has been specially developed by under the leadership of the technical director Mike Gascoyne. This is the third model that has been designed by the team and it is also the first to feature the new name of the team. Most of the features included in the car are very similar to the previous models from the company. The Caterham CT01 is the first model that has been introduced for the 2012 season by the company. An online launch was initially planned by the company on 26 January and later it was cancelled and released a day earlier instead.  Jarno Trulli was replaced by Heikki Kovalainen and Vitaly Petrov after the first test held at Jerez. The car is available with a similar green and yellow livery along with other designs that are very much of the last year&#8217;s Lotus model. The Caterham CT01 also features an odd-looking stepped nose design along with a reshaped rear quarters. It has Kinetic Energy Recovery System on the brake which has been included in the car for the first time. Caterham is the new name of Team Lotus which has been reclaimed from Malaysian outfit.<br />

The Caterham Superlight R400 safety features include front and rear disc brakes, twin circuit split front or rear along with low level warning system and ventilated front brake discs along with Quad piston calipers. Other standard features are 15 inch Superlight alloy wheels including Avon CR500 tyres, superlight suspension, ACES change-up lights, composite seats, quick-release momo steering wheel and more.<br />

The Caterham Levante is a carbon-fiber bodied car which has been developed by RS Performance Engine Developments Ltd. The car features a 2.4-litre, 40-valve supercharged V8 engine that produces about 500-bhp and 6-speed gearbox. The Caterham Levante chassis has been based on Caterham SV making it look bigger than other Caterham cars. It has a hollow carbon-fiber steering wheel which looks beautiful along with a squash ball-sized gearknob on top falls into the left hand. Only eight cars have been planned to be built to celebrate over 50 years in production from the company. The exterior has matt-black and carbon finish which makes the car look like a large insect.<br />

The car used to look very much similar to its previous model, but it is very much taller, longer and wider along with more space for the taller drivers. The Caterham SV also had larger fuel tank, more luggage space and more stability. It had a chassis of 25 kg which is much heavier when compared to the S3. This car is about 6 ft taller than compared to the S3 model.<br />

The SP/300R is also Caterham’s first mid-engine car and it&#8217;s weight is around 550kg. The car is also capable of reaching 0-60mph in just 2.5sec along with a top speed of about 170mph. The standard features include FIA-approved roll cage, fire extinguisher, cut-off switch, six-point harness, digital dashboard as well as AP Racing brakes and air jacks. The chassis is made of aluminum tub and the bodywork is of polyurethane. The suspension setup has a double wishbone along with pushrod-actuated dampers.<br />

The Caterham 21 was designed by Caterham Cars as a 2 seat roadster, but it was actually made for the 1994 British Motor Show as a fiberglass model. The Caterham 21 featured about 4 cylinder engines which included 1.6 to 2.0 L along with 115 to 230 hp. The 21 was actually very similar to Caterham 7 but it had a new, curvaceous and fully enclosed body. The 21 also weighed about less than 1,500 lbs only though it featured additional bodywork. Other important features included in the Caterham 21 were leather seats and sculpted dash which were perfect for a 2 seat roadster.<br />
