Since from the beginning, we said that the Dacia MC Concept is the car designed and dreamed by Cyprian Andrus, a young Romanian designer passionate of all kind of cars. Precisely for this reason is good thatmanaged to combine so well the past influences the present, making a conceptthat, at least in digital plan can stand with any authentic American muscle car. Comparison is not accidental because the talented designer took inspiration from the famous hot rods, such as the Lee Iacocca Ford Mustang, the Dodge Challenger 2009, or the Chevrolet Camaro 2010.

The Dodge 400 is a K-car that was first introduced in 1981 and was produced till the year 1983. The car is known to be a more expensive version of the Dodge Aries. It was available in 3 different body styles such as 2-door coupe or convertible and 4-door sedan. This was first convertible from the company after Dodge Challenger which was introduced in 1971 and it was also the first domestically-manufactured convertible model since 1976. The Dodge 400 was available with 2 different engines such as 2.2 L K I4 engine and 2.6 L Mitsubishi G54B I4 engine which was used for the convertible versions. It also features either 3-speed A413 automatic transmission or a 3-speed A470 automatic transmission. The interior of the car was designed with leather that was used for seats and features. There were also very unique door panel inserts and door panels available in the car. The chairman of the company was planning to restore the interest in convertibles when they were longer part of any major manufacturer’s. The car never went any major changes during its production period other than the LS trim that was stopped from production. About 31,449 units have been produced till date which can be seen on the roads till now and about 25,952 units were produced in 1983 alone. After the production period, this model was replaced by the Dodge 600 which was also available as coupes and convertibles from the year 1984.
