The Honda AZ600 is a two-door hatchback that was produced from 1970 to 1974. It was available with different engine options such as an air-cooled, 354 cc, 2-cylinder SOHC engine that is able to generate 31 hp at 8,500 rpm and 598 cc SOHC engine that is able to 36 hp at 9,000 rpm along with a 4-speed or 5-speed transmission. The technical achievements of the engine were similar to the larger 1.3 liter air-cooled 4-cylinder which is used in Honda 1300 coupe and sedan. The interior was available with a seating capacity for two passengers. The Honda AZ600 had a wheelbase of 2,000 mm, length of 3,125 mm, width of 1,295 mm, height of 1,280 mm and it also weighed about 1,310 lb. The car also had an opening rear glass hatch that was surrounded by a thick black plastic surround which lead to nicknames including TV set and swimming goggles. The cargo area of the car was a locker that can be accessed through a hatch hidden behind the number plate and it also revealed a small, shallow cargo area. The Honda AZ600 front suspension was coil sprung and independent and leaf springs on a beam axle were on the rear. Even though the car was available with a small size and low-powered engine, it was able to easily maintain freeway speeds. The car also featured in the Australian film Malcolm as a getaway car that was divided into two.

The Honda P-NUT is a futuristic concept vehicle that was unveiled at the 2009 Los Angeles Auto Show. It has been specially designed to accommodate different engine options such as small displacement internal combustion engine, hybrid gasoline-electric powertrain or battery-electric powertrain. The vehicle was made by Advanced Design Studio of Honda R&D Americas, Inc and it is a also new type of small-segment-category vehicle. The concept is a perfect choice for urban use and it also integrates a center driving position configuration along with a rear powertrain layout. The Honda P-NUT has a seating capacity for three passengers and it has a length of 3,400 mm, width of 1,750 mm and a height of 1,439 mm. The interior space is also very large with its center driving position flanked by the two rear seats similar to a mid-sized sedan. The rear seating areas can be increased and used as a storage capacity. The windshield of the vehicle serves as a heads-up display for navigation system and back-up camera. The exterior has been designed to hold a future direction for premium sophistication along with maximum interior space and aerodynamic appearance. It also has a sleek and aggressive exterior which helps in providing a spacious and open interior along with excellent visibility. The Honda P-NUT is expected to be function-oriented concept which shows that small cars may not compromise on style or amenities. Overall, it is a perfect vehicle for a small family with futuristic design.

Even the Japanese have recognized this spring at the Geneva Motor Show 2011 at the world premiere of this Honda Accord facelift, that they are talking about an upgrade rather discreet of the car, because they felt the need for serious changes to the mid-range sedan. And we agree with them at all – we don’t really see why they would have to change any details to this car. However, this happened, even if you need an expert eye to discover what contains the Accord’s facelift. The headlamps retain their shape, but the flags are now white, not orange, the central grid, however, is narrower and in my opinion, much finer, enough to give the car an extra elegance, while the spoiler looks a little bit aggressive. Overall, the Accord sedan remains intact on the image chapter of mid-range business car, so that there aren’t any other details changed. The situation is repeated for the interior, where the Accord maintains a sober atmosphere a bit cold because of the black and gray plastic upholstery and the ornaments are made of a nice plastic finish that mimics the aluminum. Otherwise, however, we had a lot of trouble finding a comfortable driving position. Too bad that the wheel and the board is full, because it has so many buttons, which can become less frustrating if you’re a fan of gadgets.

The electric version of the new Honda Fit, is known in whole Europe as the Honda Jazz and was officially presented at the American Auto Show this year.

One year after the ecological presentation for the Fit EV concept, the Japan’s Honda came increasingly and choose the Los Angeles Auto Show for the electric car to expose small class, but this time, they came to unveil the version number. Known in Europe as the Honda Jazz, Fit EV was upgraded even visually, to give a strong character to the car and with a most obvious character of motorization. Both front and rear of the car benefit from the redesigned bumpers and grille, things which can be seen immediately. In the inside, the most important change for the version that uses a heat engine is the adopting of the adapted tool propulsion power board. This is achieved by a coaxial aggregate of 125 hp, powered by a battery of 20 kWh. The autonomy for the Honda Jazz promised by those from Honda, for the electric version will amount about 198 km, because of the Econ mode and the recharging will be done in just three hours. The price of Honda Fit EV in America will be $ 36,625, but will not be available until the lease of a monthly rate of $ 399.

The market debut onto Oregon and California will happen at the end of 2012 and the beginning of 2013, when all the people across North America will benefit from the electric charging stations, which represents a small step for the future.

The 2013 Honda Crosstour is a concept car that was introduced at the New York International Auto Show. The car will be available with engine options such as a powerful 3.5 liter, 24-valve, i-VTEC V6 engine along with a 6-speed automatic transmission and 2.4 liter i-VTEC inline 4-cylinder engine that is capable of producing about 192 hp at 7,000 rpm and 162 lb-ft of torque at 4,400 rpm along with a 5-speed automatic transmission and Grade Logic Control. The standard safety features include lane departure warning, forward collision warning technology and a camera that is mounted behind the windshield which will alert the drivers when the car is unexpectedly out of its lane. The 2013 Honda Crosstour interior is available with Bluetooth HandsFreeLink, USB audio interface, hard-drive based navigation system, XM satellite radio, SMS text-to-speech function and Pandora internet radio interface. There are also re-shaped rear headrests, rearview camera, automatic dimming rearview mirror, auto-on/off headlights and an Expanded View Driver’s Mirror. The car features a cleaner front and rear fascias along with a rugged look of finished sill plates which adds visual strength. The 2013 Honda Crosstour is available with SUV-like styling, more aggressive and athletic front end and new contrasting moldings at the lower door garnish. The exterior features include 5-spoke 19 inch wheels, new foglamp with a slotted finish under the headlights, revised tailgate along with horizontal design and new bolder grille. The car is expected to enter into market by 2013.

At the Tokyo Motor Show 2011, Honda gratulate us with the AC-X Concept, a concept refined as being eco, attracting attention with its high-tech exterior and the SF interior. Those from Honda promise that  we will see this car on the road in the future.

According to the Japanese officials, Honda AC-X concept foresees a new generation of plug-in hybrid cars. Therefore, there is no mention of evolution of the concept Honda FCX Clarity, which will appear in the series as a car powered by hydrogen fuel cell. It is possible, although this was not confirmed, that the AC-X Honda will prefigure its descendant Honda Insight, which is a concept of a size placed between Civic and Accord and is offering spacious five seats. AC-X is based on good aerodynamics (to appreciate the idea of plexiglass panels on the wheels), but also it comes with an electrifying style, the side edges are equipped with LED blue light to give a fabolous effect. The interior reminiscent of Star Trek with futuristic orders and arranging displays, so that the main thing that attracts attention is the replacement of the steering wheel with two hoses. Other information was not yet published, but it’s quite clear that the engineers from Honda turned to the latest communication systems on board of this car.

From a technical standpoint, we are talking about a plug-in hybrid car (batteries can be loaded from an external source of electricity), which combines an electric motor and a gasoline engine of 1.6 liters. The maximum autonomy that Honda promises for AC-X amounts 620 miles (almost 1000 km), which corresponds to an average consumption of just 2.35 litres/100km.

Many questions surrounding the concept of Small Honda EV Concept Sports, which will be presented at the Tokyo Motor Show 2011. Most important is how are you looming a production model?

At the Tokyo Motor Show 2011, Honda announced among the other many concepts and AC Micro-XCommuter, so we will gratulati that the Japanese still have a mysterious concept. As the name Honda EV Concept Sports Small, it is introduced as a preview of the next generation of electric sports car, offering a great pleasure while drive  and both of them. It was not even mentioned the images of this concept, just the official drawings. We sketch depicts a modern sporty design, with two seats and litter formula, with no roof, just a famous model for the fans of Hondas CRX from the 1990.

The concept is very compact and the front shows a rather a different public image, with electrifying blue accents, so that the car is ensuring an eco look. About the propulsion, the system that we have been informed with is electric, not hybrid, as with Honda’s AC-X, for example. Interestingly is that, some voices from the Japanese company says that this concept prefigures a follower of the NSX. Which brings us to the conclusion that the Japanese rely on a major downsizing and that they are no longer interested to compete with supercars such as Porsche 911 or Ferrari 458 Italy, but rather to keep a small and clean sport car, like Tesla Roadster. Important is that Honda has opened betting exchanges, so at Japanese auto show we will learn more about the possibly production plans.

The Honda EV-Ster is a next-generation electric small sports concept car that was unveiled at the Tokyo Motor Show in the year 2011. It has been created with dynamic and innovative styling design along with good environmental performance. The car is a two-seater convertible sports car which features an electric rear wheel drive. This model has been specially developed with carbon materials which has supported in reducing the weight of the car and increasing the driving performance. The Honda EV-Ster has a wheelbase of 2,325 mm, length of 3,570 mm, width of 1,500 mm and a height of 1,100 mm. It is able to accelerate from 0-60 mph in about 5.0 seconds along with a top speed of around 160 km in the JC08 mode. It also features 10kWh lithium-ion battery which is capable of producing an output of around 58 kW. The time taken for charging the battery of the car is about 6 hours with the help of 100V outlet and about 3 hours with the 200V outlet. The interior has been developed with easy-to-operate twin-lever steering, instrument panel with meters, vehicle information display and network display which is used for internet access, audio and navigation systems. The Honda EV-Ster also allows the driver to make their own adjustments to some of the features like suspension settings and motor output. The company has been planning to put this model into production, because of the response it received at the show.

The 2012 Honda Civic HF is a new sedan that is available with improved fuel economy, low emission and overall affordability.
